See the work

Kathryn Paige Harden is a leading behavioral geneticist and professor whose work sits at the intersection of genetics, ethics, and lived experience—exploring how genes and environment shape human behavior. Her voice brings clarity and humanity to complex conversations around identity, inequality, and responsibility.

Her book Original Sin carries these ideas forward with depth and nuance, earning editorial recognition from The New York Times Book Review, Science, and The Guardian, and reaching a broad public audience through appearances on Armchair Expert and the Huberman Lab Podcast—where her episode surpassed 1M+ views.

Original Sin challenges what we believe about human behavior.

How much of who we are, is inherited?

Personal brand Strategy + social media assets for leading behavioral geneticist

Kathryn Paige Harden has spent her career examining how genes and environment shape human behavior. When it came time to bring her work beyond academia and into a broader cultural conversation, she partnered with Spitfiregirl to build a platform that could carry both the depth and nuance of her ideas.

We developed Kathryn’s personal brand and book launch strategy, defining how her work shows up beyond academia. With no social media presence in place, we built her author platform from the ground up—clarifying her positioning, shaping a distinct visual identity, and creating content frameworks that translate complex research into ideas people can engage with.

Turning complex research into a conversation people can engage with

Working with Spitfiregirl ahead of my Original Sin launch gave me exactly what I needed. They captured what I’m doing better than I could articulate myself—translating abstract, complex ideas into clear visual language and strategic direction. Their approach positioned my work as an invitation into difficult questions, rather than something to defend, and they understood how to make nuanced ideas feel accessible without flattening them.

From the visual direction of my personal brand to the custom templates and content strategy, everything felt thoughtful, cohesive, and deeply aligned with my voice. Most importantly, they gave me real clarity and confidence around how to show up online.
