WHAT You'll DO

STRATEGY
  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies to drive growth and increase brand awareness

COPYWRITING

  • You understand hooks, CTAs, storytelling, and retaining attention. You’re a good writer and have no shame using our custom chat gpt prompts to make things even better! (We believe in working smarter not harder!)

CONTENT CREATION
  • You’ll collaborate with the Creative Director and Graphic Designer to create Video & Photo content, new canva templates, and assets that are on brand and look great

ATTENTION TO DETAIL
  • You’re a stickler for the details - like spelling, grammar and punctuation. You make sure to tag the right people and utilize appropriate hashtags and keywords. If there’s a mistake, you take the time to make it right
  • This role is currently about 20-30 hours a week. Currently a remote, 1099 contractor position - this role may move to salaried position in the future

  • Ideally US-based. Our team is standard business hours MST and our clients are on PST / CST / EST time zones. A flexible schedule is needed and communication via Slack, Zoom, email & text

  • Rates are commensurate with experience, roughly 
    $30-40 an hour
Our clients are powerhouse women who are leaders in their industries (several are authors and entrepreneurs) and are looking to grow their presence on social media.

Personal branding is key, as we help them create authentic, impactful online identities that reflect their values and expertise.

While we’ll be mindful of trends, our goal is to be true to their personal brand, promote their books or services and foster + grow a likeminded audience.

WHO YOU ARE

MANAGEMENT
  • Create and manage editorial calendar for each client

  • Oversee the organization and integration of multiple platforms, photo + video files, and #allthethings that go into daily posts on multiple platforms for multiple clients

  • Create, Schedule and Post content or repurpose existing for all relevant social media platforms (predominately Instagram, Linkedin and TikTok. Occasionally Pinterest.

  • Set and track KPIs for all social media campaigns & content pieces. Review with our clients monthly

  • Moderate social media engagement (specific to particular clients/brands, if this fits in with their strategy)

PASSIONATE ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA
  • You believe in the power of social media to connect, inspire, and ignite conversations 
  • You're on top of social media trends

NOT A NEWBIE

  • You have a few years under your belt and you have performed similar roles for brand or personal brands – whether social media, media creation, and/or
    copywriting in digital marketing

CREATE + POST LIKE A PRO
  • You've got solid experience with all social platforms and related software. Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Canva, GSuite. We use Later for scheduling software. BONUS points if you have experience editing videos (CapCut, Canva) 
We are looking for a person that is eager to grow with our company, and not looking for a Social Media agency or VA for this position.
ADAPTABLE SELF STARTER
  • You know Social Media isn't linear, and have the ability to switch from task to task quickly. You see what needs to get done, and have no ego around it

HIGHLY ORGANIZED
  • You love to organize the behind-the-scenes of multiple accounts + platforms to make creating and publishing content feel easy breezy

COMMITTED
  • To your work, to our clients. You put your best behind everything you do. We are our clients biggest cheerleaders because their growth directly impacts our success
  • Marketing degree preferred, OR equivalent digital marketing experience in real world

  • Minimum 3 years real-world experience - freelance, in-house, or agency

  • Must be professional and on time - while we have a laid-back office, we take our work seriously - no flakes!

  • Must have a Mac, iPhone, reliable, fast internet and the ability to sync large files via our Dropbox

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

COMMITMENT & COMP

SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to work with us on strategy and content creation for our clients and Spitfiregirl. This role will include strategy, content creation, organization and implementation.

You will manage up to 4 to 6 social media clients at all times, across multiple channels. You'll collaborate with our CEO on Strategy and our Graphic Designer for design support. You will be in contact with our clients as well, so a high level of professionalism is expected at all times.
